Where does Granma come from?
It all started in a garage turned into a gathering place, driven by the desire to bring back home those flavors and moments that feel like family. The idea was born from memories of Sunday afternoons, from the nostalgia of kneading hands and noisy tables. Music also played a part in shaping the project, carrying the lighthearted spirit with which we decided to begin. Hands that knead, that welcome, that tell stories: a gesture that speaks louder than a thousand words.
OUR PHILOSOPHY AND IDENTITY
For us, cooking is a simple yet meaningful act: selecting good ingredients, working them with care, and serving them without unnecessary frills. We love the idea that food brings people together, becoming a moment of sharing rather than formality. Our identity also lives in our visual world, designed by Daniele Cau, who translated the energy and strength of kneading hands into a logo — a symbol of our craftsmanship.
Where We Stand Now
We are a team of 8 people, united by our passion for pasta and authentic cooking. Every day we put care and attention into each recipe, creating dishes that are simple yet full of character. Our place combines a restaurant and a fresh pasta lab, with an open kitchen that shows our work and dedication. We love experimenting and learning every day, sharing ideas and smiles among us. We look to the future with enthusiasm, continuing to grow and experiment, without ever losing sight of quality, accessibility, and authenticity.
